A classic... possibly more than the first game. Even had this one on computer... it's cheesy but in that fun way that makes you want to play it again. Sega did make some killer games, arcade and otherwise.

I actually played this game in an arcade... nowhere near as good as you are, I ran out of cash far too quickly to get far, but I felt it had great graphics for the time and it hooked me. Now I can see what I missed out on. Good stuff!

They put a lot of work into this thing... amazing attention to detail on the background going on! (I loved the kid's drawing of Evil Marie beheading people with an axe on the fridge long before you encounter her, myself) Also: spider monkeys! Love that visual pun!

Pedestrian bridge: secured pieces. Water tower: secured rubble. Train: secured wreckage. Statue of Liberty: secured ruins. Ferris Wheel: secured twisted chunks of metal. I guess our mercenary isn't paid to save the objects, just make sure he's not killed. I get the impression if it hadn't crashed by the end you'd have 'secured' the bombed out ruins of what was once the White House...

"Don't shoot! Are you not shooting me yet? Let me run in front of the enemies to check." I know the point is to make you lose so you dump in quarters, but it always feels cheap to have such suicidal civilians.

What the heck is that gun loaded with?! You shoot a thug and he explodes into fragments! "What a mess!" (I mean, it's not like we didn't have far more bloody games out there by this point, was it so they could get all markets instead of M+?)

That is a remarkably sturdy bridge. Why do they have you take out all those supports and pillars if the entiree thing is held up by just one central support? :P (Answer: gameplay padding!)

"Checkpoint" is a feeling that only kids from 90s will understand!

Detective -> Seargent! ....nevermind, detective. Harsh but fair, even if they were all practically suicidal leaping out in front of your line of fire. Though after you already lost health (when there's no health pickups) that's kind of insult to injury, literally so.

Oh oof. Taking a shot and you have to start from the beginning of the whole video sequence? And not just civilians but other officers leaping into the frame suddenly? I guess they were sure you couldn't get enough of that 'wonderful' acting, and wanted to make sure you saw it as much as possible! (I guess since it probably wasn't that cheap to record, they wanted to make it fill as much time and quarters as they could)

Sonic Blast Man vs Saitama One Punch Man... Who will win?

Scantily clad pixel-women, and street-racing cars. Who needs anything else, like quality or gameplay, or the right third of your view not blocked for the same few voice clips? ("Wow! Ahhh! Wow! You have got insurance haven't you? Wow! Ahh! Wow! Oh yeah! Wow! Isn't that the car? Ahhh! Wow!") Proof every game should be remembered... even if as a cautionary tale.

This is the sort of thing they should make more of. Beautiful graphics, fast gameplay... looks like a comic or manga in real-time!

Ah, a finally tuned sports car with two speed. Glad they eventually got around to tuning it. You'll need it to bring them to justis! Well, at least the game itself is solid.

More racing games need a collision to result in the other car being punted up into the air and away like a football, and yours spinning about. It slows you down so there's reason not to, but sometimes you can't help but laugh at that buggy surprising you after a hill doing a triple flip and landing upside-down behind you.

Poor Sonic Blast Man, his punching was so weak the crab *gained* health and regrew its claws just to grab him! Not that it matters, because it'll be wiped out with all the humans soon enough when he can't punch the meteor to death. That'll show that thug for stomping on him earlier!

So this ending is the "canon" ending, the ending where she survives? If so, that's fine, the poor protagonist suffers a lot and the deaths are quite painful and sadistic. Excellent video and gameplay.

Very well played :) In the fight against the two special units, it is also possible to eliminate them without killing them. You can also strangle the Ghost Soldiers from behind. And with the other special unit in Pyratra South there is a trick to distract the soldiers so that you can sneak in. You can interact with the ventilation system with the flashing light on the wall to the right. This is a hidden feature ^^

Oh my god... OH MY GODDAMN LORD! I'm usually alright with death scenes, but.... holy cheese and crackers. I understand why they don't go full gore on triple A games now. Time to look at some puppies and cute chibi art now.

Dam I really feel sorry for her. That developer must be sick doing a death animations for female protagonist... 6:04 that part never liked. I don't know if she blown up in pieces... I mean, she looks disintegrated, her body is gone. Only some of her pieces I see, like her boot and a sword... I always watched this part, my gosh this game gives me a nightmare. The developer is really sick. I can't imagine the remake of this game...
